If only that would of stopped it, SE was better but still got that BSOD. Oh well onwards and upwards roll on Windows 8 so we can all moan about windows 7 and complain that MS are just screwing us for more moneyYNWA

Thanks Niv, I well remember v3.11, I was a uni tutor at the time and had 36 standalone with [at the time] massive one meg 'hard cards' which were cheaper than hard drives.
Floppies at that time were 7" bits of plastic inside a cardboard sleeve - that was the absolute leading edge stuff and knocked the BBBC Model B out of British schooling.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Sure trhey weren't 5 1/4 inch floppies Richie? That's what preceded 3 1/2" floppies. They were certainly what we used on the old DOS PC-XTs we used before Windows came along.
Mind you back in my mainframe days we did use some 8" (I think) floppies. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
