I have been on ib since april 2007 due to sever anxiety.i then got asked to attend a medical in july 2008 and since am not out the house i didnt attend and asked for a house visit.in nov 2008 they stopped my money until i attended a medical,in july 2009 i received a letter from doctor for a home visit,i was put on esa until my medical.i have recevied 3 medicals for home which were all canceled due to doctor not being able to attend,just 2 weeks ago i finally got my medical and waiting on there decision.i receive 64.30 a fortnight.after the 13 weeks of esa should it not have went up, what happens to the 8 month i didnt receive money but still handed in sick lines from doctor, will i get this backdated and will the higher rate be backdated to if i pass my medical which am sure i will.i was also told i might g back to ib if i pass medical,also should i have received my cold weather payments.

If you pass the medical you will have the money backdated to the start of the 14th week if you are on ESA.

There is a thread at the top of this board about CWP.

When they stopped your money, do you mean they completely closed the benefit case on you- if they did they will not backdate your money until then.
They will back date your ESA money to week 14 if you pass the medical.

As regards to the Cold Weather Payment- do you receive contributions or income based ESA?
