Virgin Card balance transfer

I advised my wife to transfer her storecard balances to a better card. At the time, November, Virgin had a good deal (via moneysavingexpert) She did it and did it online. I see her new statements from Virgin and find she's getting no interest-free deal at all. I told her to get on the phone, but she hasn't the energy or time to pursue it. She's not financial and feels they will twist her up in knots. She also says the deal is better than storecards, which is true. But I still maintain this should be pursued How best to do this?

Did she miss a payment? They remove any promotional offer if you missed a payment or go over your credit limit - default on the account basically.

Otherwise, did she transfer the balance within the promotional window? This is 60 days from the date you opened the account. If you transfer after this - it won't qualify for the promotional rate.

Other than the above two - it sounds strange, it's an on-going offer for quite a while now, so it's not like they would of withdrawn it or only advertise it to certain people - as far as I'm aware they don't offer various deals of the same card basically.

I'd be questioning her 'real' reasons. Maybe she's in some sort of financial difficulty that you're not aware of and has been missing payments?

You ring the number on the back of her card
You hand the phone to her
She goes through security and hands the phone back to you*
    You "persue" it with MBNA

    * Has she the "energy or time" to do that?
