Given that some of their experiences seem to be marked up 100-400% I would try and go directly to the event company rather than go through an "experience day" agent. Mostly experience companies just tend to resell an event at a highly inflated price and put the tickets in fancy packaging.
Obviously it depends on your location and the experience as to where to look. It may take some digging...perhaps ask friends that have gone on the experience, a friend of mine went on a car one and the organiser told him if he had booked direct the cost would have been half.0 -
Valentines Scrathcard? (National Lottery ones)

For anybody following this thread that is, like me, a bit skint, I have a free gift that went down a storm last year.
I made some "tokens" which I put in his card, for "favours", which could be requested on demand Now how you word the "favours" or what your "favours" are is up to you.
Anything from running a bath, to a back massage, or making a cup of tea to a bit of loving
My tokens were decorated with a border, and a message in the middle stating: "This token provides the bearer with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on demand"
Just make sure you trust your man not to give them out :rotfl:I'm a nutter :j0 -
I bought one of the heart shaped cake tins they are selling in Tesco for 2.50 so I'm going to bake him a cake and buy him some sweets.
I have been really lucky this year - valentines day usually means a take away as DH wont cook and also refuses to pay restaurant prices when they have been inflated for valentines day.
This year, the boss of his company had £200 of marriot vouchers that needed using up so he gave them to DH. We have managed to get a 'valentines package'...night in one of their suites, 4 course dinner, cocktails and breakfast the next day! I'm very excited although mainly as it wil be my first night without the kids so I get a proper nights sleep!!!!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
I think my bf is getting a duvet! he doesnt actually have one which means staying at his is not too warm... it's practical but means I can stay at his more often! Also just got a copy of the only photo of us to put in the card. Favours are a great idea though..... just got to think of some!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16 Became homeowners 26.02.16 Baby girl arrived 27.10.16 Baby boy arrived 16.09.20180

we're doing persents on a budget this year so i got a box filled it with lots of red shreded tissue paper and made lots of little treats. I bought lots of heart shaped or red/valentines sweets and wrapped them in in little organza bags i had at home. I found a gorgeous little 'love' photo album in Dunelm mill reduced from £3.99 to 54p and put lots of our photos in it. I also made a voucher book using templates from americangreetings dot com in their printables section and i'm making heart shaped shortbread using cutters i got in tescos for £1 and i'm gonna ice them.
all in all its been very cheap as i've worked with what i had lying around but the local pound shops are doing some great stuff!0 -
