I don't think there is a man on earth who actually cares about Valentines Day. I hope this makes gift buying a bit easier.0

In what way do you mean "original"?
Stockings always seem to work ;p0 -
I can second the don't care bit.0

I think you're always better off getting something sexy as it's difficult to buy a man something sweet and sappy unless he's into that kind of thing. If he is that kind man maybe you could make something (very MSE!) like a book you can fill with photos, or make a CD of songs you both like.
Personally I never spend much on Valentines Day (it's always more of an excuse to go have a fancy meal somewhere because we fancy it! ) so the OH just has some love themed sweets. I also ummed and ahhed over all those cute love themed rubber ducks. But I think that's just because I wanted one
If you want to get something more expensive and your OH drinks maybe a hipflask? You can get some lovely ones and they're a nice gift as well as being useful.0 -
I mean something orginal than the usual teddy, chocolates etc. Thats Fuzzy_duck - I like the idea of making a book with photos!0

He will enjoy pretending to like that unless its full of Kelly Brook or Cheryl Cole pics
How much do you want to spend?
Best Valentines I spent was on a 4x4 off road experience course, I did a lap with SWMBO in the back and then she did one, we both enjoyed it alot.
Not very romatic but most of us men are knuckle draggers0 -
Last year I got my other half an hours go karting which he absolutely loved!Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0

Why dont you get him something based on what his interests are rather than something " valantine ".
Im getting my boyfriend tickets to see the rat pack in concert as I know he would really like to go and will love them. I know he hates jewellery, smelly stuff and cuddly toys so Im not wasting my money on these type of things.0 -
what do you want to spend?
what are his interests?

They also do non personalised ones
I knwo the year has already started but his NY resolution was to be more organised and he has a season ticket at one of the clubs you can choose so seemed fitting! and at £18 it hardly breaks the bank - but you need to order 14 days before you want it as a gift so need to be quick0 -
Thats guys, I think the experience days is a good idea! I may get a car expereince day. Anyone know any good websites. Is it red letter days or something?0
