Kitchen insulation - help needed

Hi there
There are few areas in my kitchen where cold air come thru. These are places where there are gaps between the kitchen cabinets walls and the plasterboard wall.
What kind of insulating material can I use to insulate those gaps because this is causing my kitchen to get cold?
thanks

What I did in my house when I was renovating and had a gap between the window frame and plaster walls was to pack in tightly some carpet underlay. Just poke it in there firmly with a stick or screwdriver and it will not only stop the draught but also any noise if you are near a busy road.
Kind Regards

use some expanding foam etc to fill the gap0

the gap between the cabinets and the walls are about 4inches depth and the height is about 2 feet...so explandable foam is ruled out I think. Can I use any other form of insulation material like loft insulation roll etc?0

I would be concerned to find out why cold air sufficient to cause you a problem is getting into that space.money_savy wrote: »the gap between the cabinets and the walls are about 4inches depth and the height is about 2 feet...so explandable foam is ruled out I think.
