If you have a Costco card, we found their own brand "kirkland" excellent...we are on child number four....so have used a lot of different brands......

We found that Pampers leaked too much and tried Huggies which were much better. We've now gone over to Lidl's as they seem just as good as Huggies but have the added benefit of a useful wetness indicator - and they're cheaper!!!
    Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,554

We used pampers newborn until the 'wholegrain mustard' stage had passed, for us they were the only ones which were any good for this.

We then used pampers/huggies/boots own, depending on what was on offer at the time. They were all just as good as each other (I suspect that huggies make boots own, they look/feel exactly the same)

Recently tried ASDA's own and they don't feel as good quality, but never had a problem with leakage (until todays tummy upset that is  )

Can anyone tell me who out of Tesco and Boots is selling Pampers Newborn nappies the cheapest atthe moment (the normal size not jumbo packs). I thought I saw boots were doing £1 off but it may be that Tesco are as well or that Tesco are still cheaper. Need to know as I can only get to one of these stores after work without missing my train.

Have you tried the supermarket comparison sites - Martin recommended, like Fixture ferrets - you can see what offer is on at any given time in all the major supermarkets ...

FYI I have new 6 week baby boy and 2 and half yr old boy - Pampers for the big one every time, though Tesco's pull-ups ugly but v comfy and effective, Tesco's size 1 and 2 for the new baby, better than Pampers, and Huggies - rarely leaks, though they all do at some point!!! Tiring, need sleep now... god luck x

How to get the cheapest *newborn* Pampers? Buy the 'small' size instead. Admittedly this was a few years ago, but when I compared the sizes there was nothing in it between the newborn and the smallest regular size.

Don't forget to join all the baby clubs - pampers, huggies, boots, tesco, emma's diary for coupons etc.
