Where can I get the cheapest pampers newborn nappies?

Can anyone tell me who out of Tesco and Boots is selling Pampers Newborn nappies the cheapest atthe moment (the normal size not jumbo packs). I thought I saw boots were doing £1 off but it may be that Tesco are as well or that Tesco are still cheaper. Need to know as I can only get to one of these stores after work without missing my train.

no offers in tesco..and boots are doing 200 free advantage points when you spend £20 so not great!.
Is there a specific reason for wanting pampers? as in my experience boots own are just as good and are currently only £1.49 for 28..as opposed to pampers at £7.19 for 56...more than twice the price!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
we found the boots own brand leaked too much so went back to huggies0

If you register at Pampres site they will give you £4 in discount vouchers

this is not to pampers but to first born or prem babbies for nappies.i used asda george ones when my son was born,as he was light and short etc.and they were much better than pampers....x.x.0

i've found asda nappies great for our son ....... but no good for our daughter ........ found the best for her are sainsburys (£7 for a big pack)
hope that helps0 -
I've heard that some brands are better for girls than boys..we found huggies terribly leaky for ds, and sainsburys own too..lolMembre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0

I used pampers at first as most people said they were good. But now use Huggies Supreme.
My advice would be to try and expirent with different brands and ranges within the brands. All babies are different sizes and some nappies may be good for one baby and not for another.Cheers,

Good advice - we bulk bought huggies before the birth as we had lots of vouchers, and ended up just using them as emergency spares/ giving them away.
We must have tried 7/8 different brands..
we then found washables are the best!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
We tried a few different brands (well little miss highland has) the Asda, Huggies and Tesco's nappies leaked so we plumped for Pampers which we were happy with then after seeing Lidl ones so highly recommended on MSE we are converts can't remember exact price but I'm sure it's under £6 for 58 nappies well worth a trial at that price but not sure about the smaller sizes sorry.0
