that's where he was conceived - i'll shut up now
they don't seem to check tickets at alton towers anyhow, you buy tickets at the desk then put them through a machine at the entry gate. the person in the ticket desk doesn't check who you have with you, so i can still get a free child's ticket for him, i doubt the security staff are going to make him get out of the pram and stand against a height chart. you have to take a pram to alton towers, even if the child has stopped using one, there's so much walking.
it's so unfair though, if they were going to charge by height instead of age they should have done it while my 9 year old was small, he's teeny tiny. he should get a discount, we went for his 10th birthday the other day and all his mates went on the big rides without him :rotfl:
i don't think you'd get away with pretending a 6 year old is under 5 though, my nephew always says 'no i'm not' when my sister pretends he's 4
is he allowed out to play yet? just wondering if maybe not having the little one to keep an eye on means you could discreetly watch him from your window while he plays outside.
i'd go for ice skating if there's a nearby rink, you can't take 2 kids at the same time unless you have extra arms and although it's something you could do at the weekend when your husband's around it's one of those things that the younger kids tire of more quickly, whenever my nephews go the little one is cold, whiny and tired ages before the older one wants to leave.52% tight0
