[FONT="]Hello!
I was in Spain over the weekend I decided to withdraw some euros via a cash point (Santander Zero MC card). I got as far as what the conversion/rate I was receiving but I didn’t go through with it in the end (crap rate basically). Pressed no, out came the card - nothing done.
I called up Santander yesterday and they told me that the above withdrawal was successful? Miffed as I was, I am not too sure why I have been charged for a withdrawal that I physically didn’t withdraw.
What shall I do now?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated as I am in a slight pickle here.
Regards

What does your online statement say?0

I am not to sure as I don't bank online for this particular card. I won't get my statement in the post until the end of Feb. :think:0

If no cash withdrawal has been made then there is no fee to pay-it is as simple as that. Santander/Abbey are not renowned either for their knowledge or service. If you do see a charge on your statement, write in to demand a refund.0

I have not been clear. I have been charged 40 Euro (£36ish) for something I didn't authorise/withdraw.
I saw what the comisstion rate was on-screen, which was way too high, and cancelled the transaction.
Santander have told me that they have taken £36 from my credit card which is quite unbelievable.
They have now told me that they have to communicate with the ATM in question to confirm this. I should receive written confirmation of there findings within 7-10 working days?
