Brighton Hotels

I am wanting to book a trip to Brighton for Saturday 29th May to Tuesday 1st June, for 2 people, staying 3 nights. I know it's over a bank holiday so the prices are probably going to be expensive, but can anybody recommend cheapish hotels in the area? we will be travelling down on public transport so won't have a car, so the hotel needs to be fairly close to the city centre, within walking distance to beach etc.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last time we went to Brighton, we rented a flat... worked out a load cheaper! Although I can't find the details at the minute sorry!

The Royal Albion are showing rooms available for these dates for £211. Its a lovely historic building thats really central to Brighton and right on the beach (opposite the pier)
Millards (22 Broad Street) are showing standard rooms available for £195. Again very central, but off the coastal road.
Both prices are for the total stay (not per night) and include breakfast.
