Hi folks,
I think it would be very usefull if Martin and his team could team up with those very nice people at Orchid to provide a downloadable update for the dialler. Say each Month or when something significant happens. Orchid could then bulk email the update and we would all be on the cheapest system. It would be an enourmouse incentive to buy a dialler from them, wouldn't it.
A few months ago Heinz published one on here which I used but each time I change the Orchid I have to re-read all the instructions (Senior Moments) on how to do it!
I also don't get the time to read all these posts.
Regards,
Steve

If you lend someone £20 and never see that person again.
It was probably worth it.

Just so there's no misunderstanding, my 'recommendations' for Orchid settings are the ones my daughter uses but are not necessarilly the cheapest options in all respects.
They are, however, ones which appear to me to be 'stable' (i.e. should not need to be altered very often) and which are money-savers without being too complex.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I agree with Heinz ,you can have recommedations and more recommedations but its up to YOU to decide the best settings for YOUR dialler .I dont want an update from orchid to tell me I can phone Japan cheaper when I dont phone Japan at all . we all know who we are phoning so check out the BEST options for you .0
