WOW smile

Wow Smile is a tooth whitening service who come to your home with a little table light and a tube of tooth whitener and claim that it has the same effect as having it done at the dentist. They also offer business opportunities and visit wedding fairs etc. It costs around £200
I had this done at their offices near Milton Keynes and found the procedure to be very uncomfortable. I seen in a room which was like a conference room with a large table in the middle.... had to sit bolt upright in a chair with the light (which looks a bit like a desk lamp) aimed at my mouth, which was held open with a rubbery plastic clamp, while the gel was applied. It was not possible to read due to the position you were in, or lie down - there was no music, no tv or dvd to watch, and each 10 minute session was repeated 3 times (total half an hour). Not a pleasant experience at all.
A colour card was sort of waved in front of my teeth afterwards and the girl claimed that I was definitely several shades whiter (although I couldnt see it properly due to the angle she was holding it, and the light in the room). When I got home I had a good look in the daylight and could see no difference whatsoever...in fact a friend who knew I was looking into the procedure (but didnt know Id had it done) came the following day, spent the whole day with me. Before she left she told me she had found somewhere that did teeth whitening if I was still looking to have it done! What better proof to show it hadnt made any difference!
I wrote to the company and said I was not happy and would like a refund as it clearly hadnt made any difference at all. I received a very badly written email with no punctuation and spelling mistakes, saying that they did not offer a money back guarantee and couldnt refund my money. I wrote several more times and received no reply whatsoever.
I would strongly advise anyone looking at WOW SMILE - not to waste their money.

I'm hoping you didn't pay £200! Hopefully that was the cost of the "franchise"? How much did you pay?0
