As I've mentioned in another thread it looks like Lloyds have pulled my OD facility.
My credit score will be one of the worst in the country so I may be jiggered but I need an account to put my wages in and simply pay my bills. No cards required has anyone any ideas.

im not sure on details of each bank, but all high street banks have a basic account with no lending facilities which are aimed at people with bad credit history.
you will need to ask for this type of account by its exact name when you apply - and if you need it quick i think some banks can open your account there and then if you go into a branch to apply. Barclays and Halifax spring to mind for doing this. i cant remember the name of the barclays account, but i think the halifax is called Halifax Easycash account.
head over to the Budgeting and Bank accounts board, i'm sure there's a sticky at the top with details of basic bank accounts.Debts at LBM (May '08) £5760 - Lloyds CC £4260, Lloyds OD £1500;Debts as of May 28th 2011:Santander CC: £0.00Lloyds OD : £0.00DFW Nerd #1247 - Proudly dealt with my DebtsOlympic 2012 Challenge #12

i cannot believe after the fiasco with the bank charges and the banks winning this round at the high courts that they are now laughing literally all the way to the bank. Even though i pay money into my accounts with overdrafts to my limit back in to an agreed overdraft, the charges they continue to take , always taking me over they still charge me for , and unsure if anyone has noticed they are now charging double to what they used to charge!!!! The halifax are charging from 1.00 up to 5.00 A DAY !!!!!! Therefore they can simply take from 30.00 /31.00 up to 150.00/155.00!!!! therefore the customer is never every going to be free from any debt they are simply earning hard earned cash to pay the fat cat banks interest . No wonder the fat cats are getting huge bonuses !!!!0
