Then try Amazon as they don't list on google.
You could try asking on your local freecycle too0 -
I'd go for one of the cheapest Canon Canoscan Lide models - they are very slim and the ones that I've used have all taken power via USB, so no separate power supply needed.0

If it's going to be fairly infrequent, your local library may have scanning facilities you can use free of charge0

This is a good model I have one at both home and work,
However another option would be to lie them flat on a table and take a clear photo with a camera phone (might need to switch on macro mode if it has one) and upload to your PC via its data cable, I've taken perfectly clear photos of my passport this way when I've needed one for foreign visa applications, ID etc and has always been fine0 -
The librey thing is a little useless i'm afraid. I have a scanner at work, but i need to have the results in within a certain time frame and i do most of my work at teatimes so the next morning sometimes isn't good enough. Hence needing a home one.
Tonight i have a pizza delivery. gonna get in my pj's, order the pizza and enjoy. after i have to drive down to my grans to scan the reciept as it has to be submitted within 8 hours lol
I have tried endless times using a camera and never comes out clear. i can only think that my mums camera is c**p lol :rotfl:
I will have a look now at the one you suggestedI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
