Living with parents and income based JSA

Hi there,

Sorry if this has been covered before! I'm coming to the end of my contributions based JSA and while I'm still crossing my fingers that a job will come up soon I know I may need to apply for the income based JSA (I'm assuming I will have to apply for this, it doesn't just get switched over?). What I wanted to know was will the fact I live with my parents effect my claim?

Any info greatly appreciated!

Your parents income is ignored. It's your income (and that of a partner, if you have one) that's counted.
