I found from Easyjet that the travel company did indeed overcharge me by £25.10.
I have since contacted them to request a refund but have had no response.
Their argument had been that the cost was based on airlines that offer a comparable route but i don't believe this is a fiar way of costing it as, for example they could have quoted me British Airways tax charges of approx £120 for this route instead of Easyjet's tax of £11.90!
I will be following my initial email up with them and will let you know how i get on.

Ok, so they replied with the following:

"The promotion is based on 'the availability of the airline as nominated by P&MM'. We recommend carriers such as Aer Lingus as their taxes and charges are clearly visible. As Easyjet have changed their pricing structure to only show a complete price we do not offer Easyjet flights unless absolutely necessary. As you had experienced problems with the promotion we obliged in order to fulfil your request. The reason we do not charge you the British Airways taxes equivalent is because these were more expensive than Aer Lingus so you were offered the lowest comparable price.

As you requested Easjet flights we obliged with the booking. 'The SPAR/VIVO European Flight Pass excludes compulsory charges such as airport taxes, fuel surcharges and passenger service charges.' Thank you for confirming the airport taxes to us however we are not able to do this for every booking we make and also try to ascertain the breakdown for fuel surcharges and passenger service charges.

You have been charged accordingly with the lowest equivalent rate and we have done so outside of the usual terms and conditions for the promotion."

Where do i stand on this?
    I take it i haven't got a chance!
