  • I really have to get my finances under control, especially as my employer has seen fit to mess up my tax coding!!!! Please put me down for 18!!!!!!
  • Hi Bigmumma, if Rubie4 is me then thank you, yes going to aim for 20 again this month! like Ceebeeby this will be my 2nd.

    I love this thread!!!

    I love your name Rubies!!!!

Everytime I see it I imagine myself Shirley-Bassey-Stylie, stood on a stage in a to-the-floor red sequined dress, feather boa, long gloves, fabulous hair, singing 'Rooobies are foreverrrrrrrrr' in a fabulous operatic welsh accent. In tune of course and with no unpleasant buldges to spoil aforementioned red sequined dress. Hmmm yes the reality of it would be that I'd look like a preggers lady (but not with-child) and the feather boa would tickle and irritate and I'd end up swallowing a feather by accident, I'd start coughing violently, stumble in my heels, nose dive off the stage, rip my dress revealing an off-white thong, dimpled cheeks and my hair would go back to looking like I'd been dragged through a hedge. Tha's why I've never pursued a career on the stage - not my looks or voice of course - I can't stand feathers.

Anyway.............purlease could I renew BigMummaF. Felt I didn't knuckledown enough in January. Didn't take the whole schbang seriously enough. Thought I could breeze on through the month. Didn't even plan some weeks. "Could do better B-". February is a short month but I'm gonna go all out for a hard-core 17. BRING IT ON.

Hmm I've still to achieve my 16 for Jan and its looking like a pretty close run thing...........

    Hi curlygirl,

Glad you like my name, but nothing glamourous about me. Rubies are my birthstone and red is my favourite colour, so had an engagement ruby ring, years and years ago, now been married 8 years. Unfortunately ruby stone fell out, so wasnt forever as we've not yet taken it to be repaired ..................

I personally blame all the hard labour farm work i have to do in my not-so-glamourous life style, wearing overalls and wellies and covered in cow muck!!(always girly patterned wellies though, which do cost more, but if i have plain green or black ones, the farm workers pinch them as i'm a size 7, so would rather pay that bit extra and make sure no male gammy feet have been in them!! big pet hate!!), while insisting i wouldn't take ring off!! DOH!
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)

Curlygirl, you have definitely missed your vocation - you should be a stand-up comedian :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
