Been having a serious think about what to set my February target to.

My initial aim was 131 throughout the year (only counts a day as a 'spend day' if I buy groceries), as I managed 129 in 2009. I came to this figure by opting for 11/month - with the exception of February which I set to 10 (as it's a significantly shorter month).

In January 2009 I managed 10 NSDs, but so far this month I'm at 14 (and could potentially make it to 17 if I can ignore the temptation of Whoopsies on Sunday - when I'm at work while the reductions are actually being done!).

So that left me uncertain as to what to do in February, given I only managed 6 NSDs in Feb 2009. Did I......

    • leave it at my planned 10, and hope to smash my target again
    • decrease it to a silly low number, given I'm ahead of the game at the end of January (didn't actually consider this one for long before 'binning' the idea)
    • increase my planned 10 to a higher figure

Having deliberated and cogitated, I've decided to stick to the 11 as per the rest of the year (which is where I already am on the list - think this was what finally swung it ;) )

  • Im new to this challenge, please could you put me down for 10 NSD.
I did this unofficially last month and only managed 6, but hey ho!
    £2 coin challenge = 50/250 (20% there)
Olympic challenge = 0.7% paid off
  • Just noticed I am on the same target number as the inspirational Broke in Wales (great thread) so here's a challenge. I'm putting mine up to eight for February despite a shorter month in number of days.
I know I'm being a bit emanding but BIW can you squeeze another NSD in February?

I did my January target (with difficulty)
