Hey Lolly, fingers crossed for you. You sound really calm and pragmatic, even if you're not feeling it!

Didn't get an NSD today, although the only money I spent was money my dad gave me this morning. I did a food shop and bought some cigarettes.
That's good to hear - think it's often the not knowing that's the worse - at least when it's all laid out in front of you, you know what you're faced with
And yes - they do - even if it's something to tide you over until other opportunities present themselves.
Take care

Another NSD for me today - that's number 3. Hairy Biker crumpets were a success with stepson2 who declared them much better than the usual ones I buy, stepson1 declared them "alright" and OH declared them "a bit doughy". So mixed reaction.
Lots of faffing about just to have a no spend day though - next time I'll buy them

Finally made my first NSD of the month. Feeling a bit low as we had an unforeseen high spend week (car battery) and also my husband got a letter this morning saying that he hadn't got a job he was hoping for.
So we need these challenges more than ever at the moment.

That famous chemical formula [Sh1-T Ha2pENS] rises its head all too often to be ignored.
The Offspring got three tickets for Madness for my b'day last year & we had a great time!
Love your chemical formula BigMumma - surprising how often that one occurs!!!
Madness - great, glad you enjoyed it, they are brilliant live :jLollypop75 wrote: »II'm going out for lunch, now basically. But my friend's paying as I got fired yesterday. Another friend bought me ice cream last night - so I guess it could be worse?
Sorry to hear your news Lolly and fingers crossed something good comes up for you soon.
Well done Treacly :beer:Oh, and I had a little Euromillions win (just a teensy one) yesterday, so it's all good!
Hi everyone
Another NSD for me today - it was a beautiful day here today and far too nice to go anywhere near a shop (did I really just say that?).
Well done everyone, hoping lots of us have a successful day tomorrow.
