Hellooo NSD number 1 for me.
Mr Coffeeholic's folks have gone on a cruise and asked us to go and make sure the house is ok from time to time and feed the birdies, so I wandered over after work and left my purse in the house so I wouldn't be tempted to go shopping afterwards (don't trust myself not to splurge on chocolate in this weather). It was sooooo cold I'm definitely refusing to leave the house til the ice has gone! All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

Yay! An easy first NSD for me - had a long drive (2 hours each way) to a meeting and would normally have stopped for coffee, Snickers, newspaper, bottle of water etc etc en route. Today I took some fruit from home to eat in the car and felt great every time I drove past a service station without stopping! Had to buy fuel, but can claim that back from work. Maybe I'll lose weight too eh?May NSDs 10/11 (Feb 8/10, Mar 11/10, April 11/11)May save on lunches challenge 12/18 (Feb 16/16, Mar 20/20, April 18/18)0

I know I'm not allowed to say the 'F' word, but I did! I F'd in January. There is no other way of putting it. Why did I F? Well I was snowed in and unable to S so I gained a few easy NSD's and then was c0cky for the rest of the month and didn't plan as much as should have done, didn't take the challenge as seriously as I should have done (YES OF COURSE IT'S SERIOUS and wooooooooe betide anyone who says otherwise). It therefore became a close run month and Sunday was the day I could have blazed through the finish line in Chariots of Fire..........instead I succumbed to a Hot Chocolate. That was my downfall. I was out for a walk and within 10 minutes of the Great Outdoors I became a runny-nosed snivelling little miserable whiney @rse. 'I'm coooooooooolllllld' And off I went to the Cafe for a Moccachino.
I could do with BigMummaF hauling my backside over hot coals. Am determined to knuckle down, buckle up, pull my socks up, stop playing silly billy in Feb and do better.
Sadly not off to the best start though and despite having at least a weeks worth of meals in the freezer..........I'm clearly very very poorly (with a cold) and succumbed to a stop at Morrisons on the way home. I blame my cold on my recent neglect of the 5 a day so bought some Apples and Oranges. I decided I needed a themometer for the house (What????) oh and of course some Olbas Oil (my god it's expensive). You will be proud however to learn that I rejected the Kleenex Ultra Balm at £2.15 a box!!!! Loo Roll and a small tub of vaseline will do very nicely thankee very much. After all - I'm hard-core.0
