playing divx on LG viewty GC900

does anyone else own one of these and have trouble playing divx files you have downloaded?

Not a Viewty but a Renoir (which is just a fancier Viewty) - and yes, it won't play some files that are apparently "DivX". Depending on the sources you're obtaining your videos from the files may or may not have actually been encoded properly. If they don't play on my phone I run the files through the converter software that came with it, and all have played fine after that. Don't know if the DivX Converter comes with the Viewty tho?0
