Hey ladies,
I must say you lot are hard to keep up with!!!! It hasn't been that long since i was last on surely!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway this is my 1st monthof proper TTC last monthwe just BD'ed in the hope to get pregnant and it was our honeymoon after all!!! So i did my Clear Blue OPK the digital kind coz i felt quite thick and didn't want to mess up and I got my 1st, my heart lept as i saw it and i txt DH straight away sending him a pic too!!! He was over the moon coz he knew how worried I was about actually OV'ing and whether I could do it!! (You spend so much time trying NOT to conceive that I was worried I couldn't!!!) And we had BD'ed the night before so I am feeling confident we are in with a shot this month, more tonight me thinks!!!!
I wont lie though i'll be devastated if AF pays a visit this month and I reckon I'm 'normal' I got my +ve on CD14 so thats a relief and I'm reckoning that makes it a 28 day cycle this month so back to the way I was pre-wedding!!!! So if my positive was CD14 - yday wen do I actually OV is it today???? I'm slightly confused by that!!!
Oh on the mousey front we caught it last night, the little blighter was livin in my wardrobe under my snuggly furry slippers, luckily it was only a little field mouse and seemed to be quite tame!!! We managed to catch it in a biscuit tin with some Maltesers and took it to our local 'loch' to release it but it was hilarious when it came out for a visit from the wardrobe and my 6ft2 built like a rugby player husband jumped onto the bed next to me bcoz he got such a fright from it!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
He's such a softy but i'm so glad we didn't kill it off I would have been sad, and we named him Mr Bo Jangles, hes been living like a king 10 and a half of my Thorntons chocs i received as a wedding gift!!! Tut tut, Mr Bo Jangles, but hes now alive, free and well!!!!
Soz for long winded entry, im going to do the housework now with no1 to talk to so i'll catch yous all in a bit wen i stop for tea break!!!

Sorry fanta, think missed your birthday, belated Happy Birthday:beer:, glad you had good start today!!
Second load of washing just about to go on line, think weather will be ok. Food shop later, bit of hoovering, domestic goddess me!!
I've been getting unsual pains last few day, lower back other night and now lower abdomen, just above hip. Probably just old age:p
Oh must get some more CBFM sticks!:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
Hmm my day. Put washing on. Go back to bed. Get washing on line. Put next load on. Stay out of bed. Get washing out. Well thats the morning sorted, your days sound far better that mine Wonder Womble!
Defo not MB, so far my day has been ironing and cleaning. Usually before AF I have a mad urge to clean everything I own, but not this month. Think I must be under the weather. Busy paying bills now, or supposed to beAs we've been doing so much on the house building work etc, this is a weekend for us and chilling.
Birthday was absolutely fabulous. No nookie when we got in but I'm happy I got the morning off to a great start.:j:j
I'd love to put the washing on but the machine has been disconnected so I need to clear a very dusty room before I put it back in. It can wait.
Womble you have the patience of a saint! I couldn't wait although I'm not going to test until 31st....
Oh, and just to make some of you feel better, I haven't saved a dime for PG cover! I'll have a good few months to save up and DH is working. You can never afford kids and live without loads when you have them. Good mat cover at work too...I think it's 18 weeks full or damn as near before it drops to SMP. Too busy spending it toworry about saving it..will start maybe next month when I've stopped buying for the house.
I definately don't have the patience of a saint though, I just know how it feels when you get a TLP that turns into a BFN, and it's devastating. Even if I got a BFP on the day AF is due I still won't believe it until I've tested with FMU for another 2 or 3 days!
I haven't saved anything for having a baby, we will manage with what we have got and my sister has just had a baby so plan to scrounge loads of stuff off her
We managed some bd'ing :heart2: yesterday as I had told him our window of opportunity might be approaching and he came downstairs after shower yesterday evening and was really sweet with a grin and said 'my soldiers might be ready for action' which of course I couldn't resist.
Aaaah, bless him. :A
Must go, DH wants feeding!!

You ladies are so quiet today!!!! Just me stuck in the house then!!!! LOL!!!! Can't wait for DH to get home from work gotta try BD'ing 1 more time just to make sure things go just right!!!
My big sister just called, am i overreacting by being upset???? She called to let me know her best friend has just had a baby and I love her friend to bits she a lovely person she just didn't seem bothered that she was pregnant, anyway thats not it. When my sister was telling me all the details yo know the usual weight, time of birth, how the labour was and all that jazz she continued to say so thats me an aunty now AT LAST!!!!!
It might just be me being hypersensitive but I felt like I was being kicked in the stomach by her saying that, am I just being stupid???
I'm 2nd eldest and wanted to wait until I was married before having kids she was 19 when she had my nephew and has never had any since, i'm upset by what she has said but more annoyed shes just dumped me on the rubbish heap as i dont have a child yet!!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Just back from Costco - spent too much as usual! CD4 and AF has completely gone - unexpected but I guess that was better than her visiting for weeks! So 5 days until I need to start my opk. My ipod touch app tells me I should ovulate the day after the bank holiday so trying to prepare myself to jump OH every day over our 4 day BH weekend!0

Ha ha ha too funny madbird! :0)
Deborah the ipod app is called Period Tracker lite and you tap it when you start and finish your periods and it tell you when your fertile time and ovulation is (based on a standard cycle though). Similar to what Fertility Friend does but with out the body temperatures. Since it took me nearly 60 days to have a period while using FF it's now calculating that I have a 60 day cycle which isn't correct now I'm back in sync!
Yes all Costco's need a membership card (and £25 min membership a year) - most people are self-employed who use Costco but certain 'professionals' are eligible too - when my hubby passed his chartership (surveyor) last year we became eligible - it's been well worth it though if you buy own brand stuff in the supermarket this is often cheaper than the branded stuff in costco.0
