  • Just a quick update from me.
I went to see the doctor this morning. She was really nice, dont know what I was worried about.
Anyway, Im going back in later today for blood tests and she is sending hubby an appointment asap for bloods & swimmers.
The latter apparently he has to do there and then, not in the privacy of his own home. He's gonna love this !!
  • I'm totally confused, was looking up some tips and came across this page

    http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.com/wiki/How_to_Conceive_a_Girl

For a laugh i checked it (DH wants a girl, I want a boy) and it states that women shouldn't orgasm while trying for a 'girl' (i would assume baby) are there any women here who have kids already and usually orgasm during sex??? I don't know how i'm supposed to stop myself!!!

On the plus side we had a new matress delivered today so we'll have some BD'ing tonight to try it out!!!!

PS CD 6 for me, plan to POAS for the 1st time on Monday does that sound about right???

given my cycle issues at the moment we're also putting TTc on the back burner, we're not stopping all together but we're both going to concentrate on losing weight and getting healthy so that fingers crossed the BFP will come along naturally. I'm still going to keep coming on here as it's good to follow what's happening to everyone on here. I may not post much but i do consider you all to be friends.

Good idea, my doc has told me to stop thinking about ttc for a week - like that's ever going to happen:D

He seems to think it's stress that's causing problems but what stress? I'm not stressing:huh: I love my new hobby (ttc)
  • Im going to do pig to twig, its a variation of the atkins, healthier and not quite as strict, so heres hoping!:D

Never heard of that one but might look it up. I need to sort my diet out but more for my skin. I have suffered with spots since 18 and its really bad at times. Think its bread and pots etc that make it worse but they are my staple diet so need inspiration for filling food minus bread and pots

Thats the one thing thats putting DH off :o Told him us ladies have to go through worse ;)

Doglover and Lemon Tree - Wishing you both lots of luck in your break. Totally understand why you are both doing it. Sure I will still be here when you return to greet you with open arms :)

    Teenie - Loving the PMA

Thanks for the links Fantafan / Pawpurrs / Deb - in work so will have a look through them when they all go home and i get some peace!

Qquaver - I know how you feel. If one more person tells me to stop stressing and it will happen i swear i will punch them!!!!! The nurse told me that the other week when I went for my smear.

Its an easy thing to say when its not you going through it!

Well hello my lovelies. Sorry to lose you DL and Lemon Tree but you can bet your !!! when you relax it'll happen. Everybody's leaving me although thanks god for QQ x

CD9 POAS but low as expected. Need to empty the tanks but so much going on with building work that I think it may be Sunday. Big days are next weekend so fingers crossed.

Not getting on here much at the mo which is a good and bad thing but I read up what I've missed so sorry if I'm not specific to people I have read your stuff but am not good at the multi-quote thing.

Oh, on the fatty situation. Ex-Slimming World Target member. Need to lose 2st 7lb as I'm the heaviest I've ever been...but strangley happy with everything else so maybe all is actually good???!!! Who knows?

Have a fabby weekend chaps. Off to the slope for a couple of hours tomorrow so hope not to break anything. I wonder what the impact would be if I got pg, hrmmm will have to look at diary to make sure!
