Fairy many congrats on you BFP, wonderful news!! Here's to a happy and healthy 8 months.

CD14 for me and still high, everyone cross your fingers for a Peak tomorrow or Saturday! Planning BD tonight and tomorrow to try and catch as much as possible, as we've not been great at DTD at the exact right times in recent months and DH has been less pressured recently so more action for me!
    Have a great day all

How's my nearly cycle buddy doing (perdi?)?

*waves* I'm a bit confused actually, CBFM says CD23 but I thought it was 24 - apparently I can't count!!

Feeling grotty still, had a few anxiety attacks which have also triggered off my stomach and IBS. Have a gut feeling we weren't successful this month, so have promised myself a bottle of wine and a tub of Haagen Daaz chocolate ice cream next weekend :T

I should actually be on knicker watch since I have had 24 day cycles - fingers crossed!

How are you lt, Murray and phunkles today? qq glad to hear the doc is on your case x

Hi Doglover, all well here thank you. I'm either CD15 or 16 and am into the long 2ww. I wish the 2nd 2 weeks of my cycle went as quickly as the 1st 2 weeks! :D

How are you getting on with the opks? Have you tried them yet?
    Morning all :)

    Heres a funny thing.

Last night I got home from work and thought I'd do a test, not sure why because I was ony 11 or 12dpo and haven't had any symptoms. Just used an internet cheapie, it would be negative so no point wasting a more expensive one.

Erm - imagine my suprise when I got a very faint line :o this was at 5pm after drinking allmost 2 litres of water. Probably an evap - I won't say anything and will do another in the morning. Except I caved at about 9pm and did two more tests both had a line :)

So this morning I took another two tests..................................

    http://i25.tinypic.com/9hluag.jpg

Tell me I'm not going mad there are lines there aren't there?

    I believe it I think we've got ourselves a bfp :j smiley-vault-misc-075.gifsmileyvault-jawdrop.gif

Now the question is when should I try doing a CB digi? I have two in my testing drawer but I've chucked my FMU away. The lines are about medium strength so should I wait a couple of days?

Please god let this one be a sticky one *prays*

    Deffo 2 lines there...CONGRATULATIONS! :j:j

They are the poshest internet cheapies I have ever seen do you mind me asking where you got them from?!

    :D

Thanks Q, I bought some B6 from Tesco last night, how much should I take and when. Is it 100mg? Is that every day or just after ov?
Plus I got some Soya whatsits from Tesco too (3for2) so going to give them a crack on next cycle.
For what it's worth, my SA was so low, less than 1 million, I was told to take men's health multivitamins, something with a string of goodness (zinc, selenium, etc)... After a month of taking them every other day, my wife gets her BFP

Good news, my OH is currently taking zince every day but I think I need to up his dose. :D

can I ask all you ladies using the CBFM, has anyone bought a second hand one? I'm a little nervous about buying one thinking that someone else's pee will have been inside it! thats only becasue I'm a OCD clean freak! thanks in advance :)

I got one of ebay and never thought of that. As said before there is a cap so will be fine. However make sure you reset it if you are getting it second hand. I didn't and had a panic when it didn;t ask me. :D

Well done - deffo 2 lines there. I'm only 2dpo so no chance of me testing yet, it would be great if we got our BFP's at the same time too :D, where did you get those tests from?

Congratulations to you Fairy, Definitely 2 lines there :)
Kitten & amara hugs to you both, try to keep your spirits up xxx
Doglover – I’m in the same boat this month, not enough DTD and cm confusing so unsure if I actually ov’d???

Thanks for all the advice re CBFM ladies, that’s me spending tonight on eBay!

I'm interestingly following all the gossip re vitamins, I'm allergic to fresh fruit and veg and have quite a few low vitamin counts so guess this is something I should really think about to up my chances.

Haven’t DTD for last 2 days :( and as am on cd15 think our chances are out this month.

  • Congratulations FairyShazza... if all goes well, I suppose you have a due date very similar to my wife, let us know how things go and what the GP and initial scan says, as to whether or not there might be a few of us interested in a thread for those expecting babies in March 2011.... :):):)

Ok, back to the vitamin supplements question which I sparked off last night... I do love how the men's multivitamins say that they contain vitamin a so should not be consumed by those who wish to fall pregnant...!?!?!? :)

(note mg = milligrams, ug = micrograms, you know the backwards u that you see on packets):
    15mg of zinc
    500ug of folic acid
    9mg of b6
    9ug of b12
    150ug of selenium
    2mg of co q10
    50mg of magnesium
    30mg of l-carnitine
amongst all the usual other things which are normally included in most of the normal everyday multivitamins...

I've posted this because it might give people an indication of what I've been taking, not that it will help for sure, but it seems to have improved my SA from one where several doctors had said that my wife would never fall pregnant naturally to a state where she did!!!

Oh, and I definitely would not say that my diet or exercise levels are that great, either, hence why I decided to take the supplements. But when I'm on calcitriol already (a form of vitamin d), I wanted to be very careful so as not to overdose on one thing. I did even read that sometimes too much of some things can have a negative effect on SA, but I can't remember what...

I got them from Ebay from seller fertilityplan they were about £3.50 for 5 tests but they sometimes do packs of 10 which is what I brought, they are sold as ultra early tests though not sure what miu they are.

I also have some of the really cheap ones which are just like a little strip of plastic, the line of those is a bit fainter but it’s still there.

Well done - deffo 2 lines there. I'm only 2dpo so no chance of me testing yet, it would be great if we got our BFP's at the same time too , where did you get those tests from?
    When was your AF due?

Well I’m not really sure when AF is/was due as my cycles have been changing between 24 – 29 days. Yesterday was CD24 and either 11 or 12dpo. I knew that I have never had an LP longer than 13 days so if I made it past then that would be a good sign.

I didn’t even really expect to get a bfp in all honesty, I was just getting impatient and thought I’d test. This was exactly how it happened last time – just tested, hadn’t had any symptoms but just felt different. Last time I got my bfp at 14dpo and it was even stronger than the lines I have had today so hopefully over the next couple of days my lines should get darker. Am going to try and wait until Sunday to do a Clearblue digi – OH won’t believe it’s a proper bfp until he sees those words come up.

Thank you all for the messages, it means a lot. I know it is difficult when you see someone get a bfp and I hope that it hasn’t upset any of you. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope to see more bfps soon *hugs*
