I wonder how OH will react if I come home waving a turkey baster :rotfl:

:rotfl: I just spat my roll every where reading that then :rotfl:
and thank you for the hug :)

She just told me that she's not telling anyone else until the scan (i did tell her i thought that was best). Suppose I should feel special for being trusted with this info and at least i have more time to get used to it before everyone else finds out. Just dreading the "I thought it would be you next" or the "I bet you are jealous" comments. I know they will be coming because she had it all when i was getting married (shes the older sister) DH did say at least i know how she felt then because shes wanted to get married for yrs. Shes with a different bloke now.

Hopefully (pppllleeeaaassseee) i'll have my BFP by then (7 or 8 wks and counting :rotfl:) so can just smile smuggly

Got loads to do as normal but really cant be bothered. Just want to go out in the sun

    Hi girls

CD6 for me. Was wondering, are there any natural signs that I'm OVing? As it is only month 2, I don't want to get technical yet and have no thermometers etc, but are there any natural signs that I can watch out for other than just guessing at CD 14!!

    xDx

You could get EWCM (the delightfully named Egg-White Cervical Mucus) which is a good sign that your fertile. But its not always easy to notice unless you're really keen to find it!

Also, you could get a small stabbing pain which lasts for a little while about where your ovaries are, usually on one side or another (depending on which side the egg is coming from).

I dont ever notice EWCM so always use a TTC friendly lube but I do get the stabbing pain nearly every month :)

So, will the stabbing pain be literally when the egg is being released? Or just before it is...?

Sorry - not very well up on this!

I think its a warning that its coming. Probably within hours rather than days. Basically, if you feel it you should be getting some BD'ing in! I'll look out for it this month and compare it to what CBFM is telling me to see if I can pinpoint it anymore than that.

Don't forget that ideally you will pre-empt ovulation and will have been DTD for the few days preceding it. An egg only lives 12-24 hours max, sperm lives up to five days, so ideally, the little spermies will be waiting for the egg :)

:eek::eek: Thought my ears were burning!:rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, come and read my thrilling exploits on mfw. The other day I hung some washing on the line, today that's a bit too much so it's all sat going musty in the kitchen. I am getting a wheelchair though which has cheered me up massively and I STILL reckon I'll be going back to work when my sick note runs out next week :rotfl:.

BUT: I'm so grateful to be pg, and that it's planned and that my husband is so loving and caring and all the rest of it and in the big scheme of things this is a non-event.

Good luck ladies, I'm still lurking ... :A
