Trying for a Baby part 5....

I always thought that it was a different strain of herpes virus that infected the nether regions so it wasnt possible to cross contaminate from a mouth coldsore. I'd like to know though because I get really bad coldsores on my nose (I can feel one coming now) and I need to be extra careful with towels if its not the case!!
Ok, just done some Googling & it is possible to cross contaminate!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
It also said that they can be dangerous for pregnant women!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I think I need to speak to my doctor because I get at least 1 a month (just for clarification they're on my nose!) & I'd definately like to be pg one day!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
OK, but hope it'll never come this year for us though!:D
Hear hear! :beer:0 -
 Best be very careful with that towel Murray. I think a chat with the doc or nurse may be a good call.
In work and cant be bothered :rotfl: nothing new then :rotfl:
Think I best get and do some work
Sticky baby dust to all xxxx0 -
It'll be great if I was pg, but hpts are starting to cost a fortune.
And I'm getting those terrible evaporation lines (yes I know one is supposed to throw it away after the time is up:shhh:).gettingthereslowly wrote: »Cold sore is on his mouth but its due to the herpes virus with is linked to the other type  so not taking any chances. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Thanks ladies, it's bad days like these that having this place really helps.
Yes definitely; last night I was in pieces but people here helped me to get back on track.
Have you had any treats tonight Perdi? I let myself have a Toblerone last night (yum yum). I am not one to eat when I am down, but I do love Toblerone. (I lost a stone once when I had a difficult time over something else and couldn't bring myself to eat a lot, so I know I won't get carried away.)
I promised myself a good cry tonight, but I actually feel much better. Despite seeing ANOTHER pregnant person. I have started testing for LH, even though it is only day 5, well I have lots of sticks and I am NOT going to miss it!0 -

I said, 'Oh so cute!'
She: 'Thank you'
I: 'how old is he?'
She: '2 months, it's a girl'.
I:Oh! She's a cutie.
Ooops:p But the baby was wearing blue!
Next time, I'll just say, 'how old?';)
No tears, but nearly died with embarrassment:o
It was my first time talking to a stranger about a baby;)0 -
Hi waterbaby I'm glad you're feeling better too. I conned boss into thinking it was purely pms so she picked me up some chocolate and crisps
I got my hug when I got home but I think he was slightly bemused at how upset i was! Had my glass of wine but it didn't agree with me
BF called last night to enthuse about being a daddy and to fill in the details. It very nearly went wrong so relieved that they're both alright and should be home in the next couple of days. I teased him about doing the new dad thing of how she was the most perfect and adorable baby ever, but having seen the pics she is exceptionally cute
He does suffer from foot-in-mouth disease and I obv hadn't said how I was feeling. I thought I couldn't cope with his usual teasing of 'when you going to catch up' etc but last night he was just talking about 'when you have yours' and 'when it's you turn' and he had such blind faith that it was going to happen for us that by the end I had my PMA restored.
I guess that's why he's my best mate0 -
Morning girls
QQ - she shouldn't have dressed her in blue then!! I'd have assumed she was a boy too!
Perdi - it will happen - keep the faith sweetie.
CD21 for me - 6/7 days to go to see if I'm late.
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Morning all!
CD26 today and my 'M' started flashing on my CBFM - its all very exciting!
Next month I'll probably not switch my CBFM on everyday in the 2ww because a reminder everyday about what cd your on does make it drag - it feels like months since AF's last visit!
Perdi, glad you've got your mojo back!0 -
