Some get false negatives for months;)

Thanks for all the tips and advice. I'm years out of action so didn't really know what to say to her!

She does seem to have all of the symptoms though. And it's not like she is trying. She's just not deliberately trying! I don't know. I think she had given up thinking that she could have a baby and stopped thinking about it. So it's quite hard to get her to be patient now after all the time she was thinking it wasn't possible to have any children.

In saying that though, her periods are like clockwork every month without fail. So the fact that she is late a week is a HUGE deal. I'm just hoping it is a false negative for her. She's totally convinced now that she is.

Angel I really hope she is pg and her hormone levels are just that bit too low to be registering on a test atm, which is possible if she ovulated later than she thought:)
It's difficult to know what to say coz I imagine you don't want to get her hopes up just in case but at the same time you don't want to tell her she's imagining it coz thats just cruel:p Been there myself on both sides!....fingers crossed for her x

Thank you! And yes, you can see my dilemma. I'm going to attempt to be supportive and positive without trying to get her hopes up!

7 days and counting then until she can re-test!

Many thanks for your kind words and advice. Much appreciated. xx

no problem :) oh and if she can't hold out 7 days(it is ahuge amoutn of time when waiting for something!) then a couple of days wil suffice as I think the hormone level double each day or something like that anyway:D

    Hey ladies!

Well, the wedding went off without a hitch, I'll put some more pictures up when I actually have some, but here's one from my Dad's camera:

    Untitled-1.jpg

We didn't get to go to Jersey on honeymoon due to the volcano but as my parents live in Bristol and were going away for the week anyway we decided to have a couple of nights in Bath and then come back and use their house. We've managed to reschedule for September - weirdly, the same weekend we had originally planned to get married!

No TTC though - AF showed up! Boooo. Ah well - at least we can start trying without gallons of alcohol in our system now! :D And in two weeks, we'll be doing JUST THAT! Eek!
    My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.
