This is the 7 month in total of being on Clomid so no side effects now. Only really had them the first two months and they were evil, the first month especially i couldnt get out of bed without being queasy. Now its no different to taking the Mother to be suppliments.

What does clomid do exactly? Is it to help you regulate ovulation?

How do you get prescribed it?

Just heard the National Rail strike has been called off..thank the lord!! My company were insisting we all make 'alternative arrangements' to get in, which would have taken me hours :( I was really starting to get stressed.

Stef pls correct me if I'm wrong:o

Its a drug used for women who are having difficulty in conceiving, it stimulates ovulation, thats the basics of it I think, more info here
I think it's normally prescribed to women who have either had previous gynae/ttc/hormonal problems or those who have been trying for quite sometime without success.

Stef fingers crossed this is your cycle hun:) xx

I were prescribed Clomid through the fertility clinic as hubby and i have been trying now for 3.5 years to have a baby together - i have 3 from a previous relationship but they are all teenagers now, hubby has none biologically.

We were offered clomid as my husband has Ankylosing Spondylitis and fibromyalgia. He was put on medication in November 2007 to control his AS but were warned at the time it depletes the male sperm count.

After 2 years of trying hubby was sent for a sperm test to see how much the Sulphasalazine had effected his count and it came back normal, i were checked out and everything came back fine so we have been prescribed clomid to boost the amount of eggs released to improve our chances. For the newbies i became pregnant in December after having folicular tracking and MC'd new years eve. This is second cycle of clomid since MC.

    Fuzz :) how are you?
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
