Hello all, I've been a lurker and very occasional contributer but last night I took a test and two more this morning and I'm pregnant! I'm now nearly dead with fear and panic but I'm hoping that's normal.
5 months of trying and I'm 4 weeks gone (I think), phew!

    :j Congrats starjumper :j

For those of you with IBS type probs (sorry - forgot names :o). I saw my consultant this morning. He's very laid back and says that my sigmoidoscopy showed no real problems. And that if I'm not in pain then he doesn't see why I should worry about my pellet poos. He's suggested I take Lactulose before my period to help with the pain I get around that time. So I'll give it a go. I told him I went wheat free, and he seemed OK with it. He's happy for me to continue with it and says it'll have no negative affects while TTC or during Pregnancy (as long as I'm taking folic acid). So given it improved things for me I'm going to continue Wheat free at least untill I get preggers as it helps with my period pains.

    CD21 - no symptoms.

Someone was talking about timing of AF a few pages back. I'm due Good Friday :( It is just amazing how it seems to clash with anything good! So if I do come on I get to spend my bank holiday curled up in pain instead of a day off work :(

  • Morning all...congratulations Star!! Great news! :j

Had my first reflexology appointment last night. It went well (I think)...she basically said I have a lot of stress and tension etc....but I knew that already.

CD11 for me today and had a fair bit of what I think is EWCM just now when I went to the toilet...so hopefully should be coming up to ov time...how long after EWCM makes an appearance should you ov??

Huge Congrats Star Jumper - wishing you a healthy 8 months!!!
MV - glad reflexology went ok, I didn't enjoy my first session very much but from second one onwards felt it went a lot better and helped me relax.

Congrat Starjumper, here's to a happy, healthy 8 months ahead for you.

CD6 for me and time to start poas - surprised to find a high reading straight away, maybe this means a shorter cycle for me this month.

MV bear with the reflexology as Primmer said the first one isn't very enjoyable cos there's so much tension and many obstructions, it hurts whilst its getting worked out, but it gets better and better!

Lunchtime, just had lentil soup and a couple of slices of bread. Have fruit for this afternoon. Am trying to eat a little bit healthier, at least during the days I work. OH has a sweet tooth and I succumb to temptation when we're out and about on my days off, he is such a bad influence!

Egg on toast for me for lunch - yum.
Big congrats Star, take it easy and enjoy your PG.
CD11 for me, still low on CBFT but some CM but clear. Will hopefully DTD tonight as last night was a non-starter but hey, no point stressing. The weekend is only a sniff away.

Thanks iainsmum..I didn't not enjoy it, but I didnt feel particularly great afterwards either. Still anything is worth a try isnt it?

A girl at work who's just had a baby has recommended me to have a look at vitamin supplements by a woman called Zita West. Apparently they're excellent and a much higher dosage of the stuff you need when ttc than the vits you can buy in Boots etc. They also do a man's supplement that I may get for OH.

They're not cheap...£19.50 for a months supply, but again anything is worth a try, and my mum has been asking me for birthday present idea's, so she is going to order me some :)

May try and DTD tonight too as my cm seems quite stretchy. My cycles are a bit all over the place at the moment, so will POAS too but we wont get a chance to BD tomorrow night as are driving up to visit OH's folks which will no doubt end in a late and boozy night.
