Penny is it time to ask for Dnc now to stop all this prolonged mental pain for you? Im sure it would help you change your mind towards ttc after wards. Whatever you decide you know there are plenty of us around to listen to you and lend a shoulder even if its a virtual one.

Hi Penny, I was just going to reiterate what Stef posted. Maybe there is some stubborn tissue and you do require medical intervention on this occasion. I honestly can't blame you for wanting to stop trying after your awful experience but what are the chances of this ever happening again? 20%? That's an 80% likelihood things will turn out well next time.
Fear and concern are natural but not as much as our urge to be mummies. Those odds are pretty good. It is a numbers game and we were the unlucky ones but next time..who knows?:)

    Risk of miscarriage
(related to past pregnancy history in the following way):

    First pregnancy 5%
    Last pregnancy terminated 6%
Last pregnancy a live birth 5%
    All pregnancies live births 4%
    1 previous miscarriage 20%
    2 previous miscarriages 28%
    3 previous miscarriages 43%
(source: Prof Regan study, recurrent miscarriage unit, London)

I don't suggest you jump right back in but perhaps do an Elliebobs/Becs and take some QUALITY time out to get physically and mentally ready...starting with your nail treatment. Lucky thing! (hugs)

    I didn't even mention the 6 blimmin ponies!!!...I want a pony, i want a pony!

  • Penny so sorry this has dragged on for so long. I can imagine it's competely draining both mentally and physically.

I agree with the others who have said maybe you should speak to your GP about getting te remains of the MC cleared so you can move forward again.

And I also think that you will go on to ttc again and you will have that baby that you long for. You just need to put this horrible episode behind you...please don't give up xxx
