Charge for using card is it worth it?

Evening all,

Does anyone know if its worth paying the balance of our holiday nearly £3000 on our Tesco credit card at the cost of £74-00 just to get the clubcard points? We have had our credit card for over 6 years, i think Tesco have changed the rules on newer credit cards (less points) but i'm not sure how many points we still get?

Any help much apreciated,

Thanks

T :)

Why would it cost you £74?
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
  • This is the charge for using a credit card they don't charge for using a debit card!

Ah... I would imagine it's one point per £1 spent so £30 in spending at Tesco...

Best call and ask, if it's less than 3P worth of points per £1 spent then it's not worth doing.

Although if it's a package holiday not booked via a travel agent then it's still worth paying for £1 of it by credit card for the section 75 protection on the full amount?
