Vokera Boiler Leak

Hi Everyone

My Vokera boiler is leaking water out of the bottom, not much, just a little drop every day. The Pressure slowly drops and I've had to top it up every couple of weeks. My radiators are all hot when the heating is on.

Would this small leak in the boiler be leading to the loss of pressure?

I'm just a little bit worried as last year I had a burst pipe and flooded downstairs flat - certainly don't want that happening again.

I had exactly the same problem with a vokera. The small drip led to a big leak, and I had to have a valve replaced. Dont think it was that expensive if I remember rightly, but best to get it checked. You shouldnt have to keep upping the pressure

Sounds plausible, I'd definitely get it looked at.
  • Thanks guys for the responses. I'm due to have a plumber round soon to check out some work I'm doing on my bathroom so I'll ask him to take a look.

As an aside (and probably not the right forum to post on!) but I'm thinking I may sell my flat in the summer. Do you think putting in a new boiler and fully servicing the central heating system before hand would be beneficial or am I just throwing money down the drain! (no pun intended!)
