From a quick look on Google it seems you need a special remote to do this (or a device capable of generating the correct IR code, such as a computer/PDA with IR transmitter and appropriate software)
  • I've got a pretty good all in one remote, can it be done with that?

Where can I buy these special remotes?

Sorry, is it the remote you need or a specific code?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0293000794/ref=asc_df_0293000794550062/?!!!!!dooyoocouk-21&creative=7966&creativeASIN=0293000794&linkCode=asn

I would contact the seller and see if it will do the job or see if you can find it cheaper.

Does the tv in the room have a remote? If so the following I copied from the instruction manual easily found on the web may help you.

When the set is in the Standard Security Mode, the Set-up Menu may be accessed either with an
Institutional Set-up Remote Control, or with a guest remote control (like the RC2886) by pressing
    the following Remote Control keys in sequence: 3 1 9 7 5 3 Mute

Then you get access to change the input from there
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!

You do realise there may well be legal consequences of doing anything like this?

The OP could end up in deep doo dah's if the TV suffers any permanent damage.
