For some reason all the user ID's and passwords on my first direct internet banking plus have gone blank!
Nothing to log onto and no balances. It knows the institutions but all the log in info is blank, every single one!
This is the third time in as many months.
Is there a better option, where the info is stored on a memory stick so it can be used on multiple PC's?
Thanks!

I use ewise. It allows you to save the bank details on a memory stick or in the registry

I have just rebooted my PC and the accounts are back and it is working correctly.
Very odd.
However, my question about an alternative, portable aggregator, still stands.0 -

As cralittlewood said, you can use a portable device with AccountUnity.
It's the same background software as FD's, but I prefer AU's features over the FD offering. For what it's worth, I've been using it for quite some time and have never experienced the problem you describe, which suggests it's either a First Direct issue, or something to do with your computer.0 -
I've tried First Direct, eWise and Yodlee.
Of the three Yodlee is way ahead, but unfortunately its UK bank selection is inadequate and does not seem to have been updated as many do not work. It is also a full featured personal finance manager. If it DOES have the accounts you need then go for it.
First Direct I have used for quite a while. They are slow to update the available accounts - if they do so at all. I am not sure this is being actively supported anymore. You have to use MS Internet Explorer. It will not work with Firefox or Chrome. If you want to use from more than one computer you have to set up each one from scratch. It shows net worth.
eWise does not have all the UK Banks. It is fast and you can have a portable version (you store the details on a USB stick). The information is rather basic - it does not even give net worth.0 -
MoneyStrands is great... and has an Iphone app0
