My wife and I hope to spend the first week of September in or near St. Ives. We would be happy to stay in a hotel, guesthouse or self-catering. Does anyone have anywhere they can suggest, please?

there are lots of guest houses and b+bs in st ives and lovely hotels the only one i can recommend is Tregenna Castle but its a bit pricey, there are a couple of holiday camps similar to Haven, but again not sure of the names maybe a search in google?
september is a good place to go as it wont be overun, Lelant , and Carbis Bay are just outside St Ives so they could also offer places to stay

A bit pricey but I found this

If they are full ask if they know of hotels/B&B's with vacancies. It worked for us when we went to Brixham in May this year.

this place overlooks a beautiful bay and is close to st ives.. Its next door to haven but much cheaper. We went to haven in may (riviere sands) using tesco clubcard points. I highly recommend the platinum caravans
