Can anyone tell me if i can add disc brakes onto these rims? Looking at buying them off ebay, my bike is hardrock sport 2008. Thanks

What you've described are just the rims, the disc brakes fit onto the hubs which is the part in the middle tht the spokes fit onto. I doubt that if the hubs on those wheels are standard then you will be able to fit discs. If you want discs, It may be cheaper to just buy some new wheels. Some decent ones are here,

If your hubs will accept discs, you'll see the flat face with 5 or 6 drilled holes on the one side of the hub.
Happy riding!
