How do i know?

I had an egg loan from december 2004 for 52 months. the Loan was for £11k and I paid £249.28 each month.

How do i know if i paid PPi on it? I have the initial paperwork, but it has no mention of PPI anywhere. DOes that mean I didnt pay any?

    Hi and welcome.;)

I would check your agreement, if it does not show anything with PPI on it then there is none being paid.
Do you have the agreement for when you signed for the loan?

  • the agreement parts that i have doesnt mention it at all no

The loan agreement was for 7.9% over 52 weeks with £11K paying £249.28 does that sound normal?

I see, that may be correct but I am not too sure, but another way you can find out is to request a Subject Access Request (SAR) they have 40 days to send out all the info they hold on you, with a payment of £10 postal order or cheque payment to be enclosed within this request.

There is a letter SAR template for this request below link.

If you decide to want to do this, I would suggest to post by recorded delivery, for your proof of posting and to keep an eye on the 40 days they have to comply.

If PPI were taken out then there should be details of it included in the SAR.

    Hope this helps, good luck.;)

I take it you mean over 52 months here??? If it was over 52 months then your loan repayments of £249.28 look NOT to include PPI IF the loan was for £11000. I hope you read this before requesting the SAR???
  • yes sorry i meant 52 months. Ok well thats perfect then, thank you for your help :)
