Hi FC, have you tried Lidl? They do a great range of microwavable fish which you can split down into meals for one. Also if your gran likes spicy food they do a nice bombay potato which is tasty and easy to cook.0

I do agree with the vegetarian debate (speaking as a veggie who also subscribes to the if it has eyes its meat and therefore a veggie won't eat it), but is it possibly taking the thread off topic a bit?
Does she like cheese sauce? Can be a great way of getting calories in (as I know to my cost!) and can be used for all sorts of vegetables in cheese sauce, macaroni cheese, sause for lasagne etc)
