Argos none delivery

Hi i ordered some furniture from Argos direct on 31st December 2009 via the internet. My order went through and i had a confirmation e-mail to say Argos would contact me before 26th Jan 2010 to arrange delivery on my items.
Well i had a phone call today to say i will now get a phone call on 14th Feb to arrange delivery!
I am very frustrated and i tried to track my order on Sat (23rd) but my furniture is no longer in the catalogue i am getting a bit worried and dont know what to do.
The only reason we ordered that furniture was because it was half price.
Any help would be great thanks.

You can either wait, or cancel the order.
In Argos' defence, they did at least contact you to let you know of the delay...you didn't have to call up to find out where the delivery was, only to find out it'd be two weeks later.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Just worrying me that even the woman on the phone could not find the items anymore on the system.
And they gave me 28 days delivery when i ordered but a few weeks later it had dropped to 7 days so i find that confusing as well.
I really dont want to cancel but may have to if let me down again in Feb.0 -
That is rather worrying, I'll admit. However, we must have faith in our catalogue-wielding overlords.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
