PDF splitter with footer/header look up

Hi

I have a PDF splitter currently, which is fine, however what i would like is a PDF splitter that can splitt a document and rename files based on the reference number I have on each page. Any ideas anyone??

I use PaperPort see http://www.nuance.com/imaging/paperport/paperport-for-the-home-user.asp

A bit pricey got my orignal copy bundled in with printer but now upgraded to PP11
you can stack or unstack PDF docs and change doc file properties if this is what you want

Can find at the moment but seem to remember a free trial download someware on their site

I am looking at it, basically what I need to do is rename eg 250 files in a way that a program picks up a 4 digit number from the text, footer or header making it a unique file path. It cannot be a random number - it has to be that unique ref number within each document... Can the above system deliver that?
