Hi Folks.
First Direct banking customers are being incentivised to take out life assurance with them with the lure of £100 cashback. Having requested a quote the premium payable for me was approximately double the cheapest rate available via IFAs (including the IFAs commission). So, don't be tempted by the cashback without first speaking to an IFA. You may be able to pursuade the IFA to match the £100 cashback and save heaps on the premium at the same time.
