Old Credit Cards - GE Money Mastercard

Hello,

Any advice on the below issue will be very gratefully received.

I used to take advantage of the interest free balance transfer offers, changing cards every year and cancelling the old card. I previously held a GE Money Mastercard, applied for directly through their website so it had no storecard branding or affiliation. I now need to retrieve old statements from GE Money as I am in the process of a small claims court action and the date I entered into the contract with the supplier needs to be confirmed. However, GE Money Mastercard were purchased by Santander and although i have called Santander they have been unable to help and have advised old records were retained by GE Money. Google and Wiki only have details of GE Money Credit cards in Australia. I am at a loss as to where to go next. Please can someone help?

Many thanks in advance
