Luke warm shower

We live in a rented house that has a main bathroom and an en-suite, the water temperature in the en-suite shower is luke warm whereas the main shower is a reasonable temperature.
We have the hot water turned up to full and it's still only luke warm. All the sink taps the water comes out boiling hot.
Any ideas what it could be and how we can fix it?
Thank you

Does turning down the flow rate of the offending shower increase its temperature? The shower that is fine - is fit airly similar to the one thats not; flow rate etc?
(I am assuming you're on a combi here...supplying both showers)
But sounds like the thermostatic mixer might have gone - especially if all other taps provide nice hot water.0 -
Faulty stat or badly adjusted if its a mira shower and badly adjusted then its very easy to fix, higher cold water pressure than there is on the hot water side, possibly though unlikely an inline stat on the hot water side which is reducing the temp of the water coming into that side, last thing i can think of would be an inlet filter that is clogged up on the hot water side.Norn Iron Club member No 3530

is it an electric shower or mixer?0

It's a mixer i think, it's built into the wall with only the dial on the wall.0

If you can find the make and model then you might be able to get replacement insides for the it but its probably not something I would touch in rented place. Have you reported it to your landlord?0

You may need a thermostat, or depending on the make/model a new cartridge assembly.0
