Next Customer Services

Hello,
I wonder if anybody else has had any problems with Next customer services.
My issue is as follows. I ordered 3 items from Next online, I did not receive the usual email confirming the order and 4 days later i still had not received the items I ordered.
So ( perhaps unwisely) I ordered them again. This time they arrived. On my next statement I noticed that I had been charged for the items twice. I contacted Next customer services who took 10 days to reply to my email.
They have sent me a document that proves that I took delivery of one set of items and therefore they will be taking no further action. I have replied that yes I did take delivery of one set of items but have been charged for another set that I did not receive. Both sets of items have different invoice numbers. They have said that if I wish to take this matter further than I will have to put it in writing with a signature and 'they may use this documentation in any subsequent police investigation'.
Sorry if this doesnt make sense!
I will be writing to them - I just wondered if it makes sense to anybody else as Next don't appear to understand what I am saying!

telephone them and explain it. Emails can sometimes be misunderstood0

I have phoned them and eventually spoke to a person on the courier department who are sending me a form to complete, they will then investigate the matter.
Thanks Stripey.0 -
I can remember when I had a Next account having problems getting a refund - took months on one memorable occasion. It is partly why I closed my account - that and the fact that they are overpriced.0

Did you get through to the UK or India call centre ?
Brought some curtains from them last year (wanted 2 pairs) but the call centre service assistant in India was trying to say i only need 1 pair 2 curtains in pack, this was despite me telling her i have 2 windows in the bedroom so i need 4 curtains (2 pairs) to which she cut me off.
i called back following morning and spoke to somebody in UK telling them about my experience the previous night to which thet replied we are having a few problems with that call centre would you like to place the order now ?0 -
Hello - still no joy from Next. I have written to them ( 6 weeks ago!) and have received no reply.
