Changing dishwasher for washing machine
dll
Can someone advise - the kitchen is only small and until now has had a slimline dishwasher in it. We now want to change the dishwasher for a toploading narrow washing machine. Are the pipes all the same and is it a simple switch over??
Thanks.
Thanks.

They should be - one cold feed and one drain pipe. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

Do make sure your washing machine takes cold fill only, if you only have a cold fill pipe for the dishwasher (which is usual).
Blimey, you will miss not having a dishwasher tho'.
At my last house, I had the washing machine put into the old outside loo, to leave room for a dishwasher in the kitchen.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.
