Official Insert

What's the deal?

McDonalds is giving away vouchers for up to seven free child swims when an adult pays full price. You can get one free swim a week between 19th July to 5th Sept.

How to get your free swims

Simply nip over to McDonalds and ask for your free Treat Card (no purchase necessary). Next log on to www.mcdonaldsfreeswim.co.uk to find your nearest pool. When you go to the pool take along your treat card and swim voucher.

Had an e-mail today from McDonalds Advantage Club.

From 5th July - 18th July you can collect a 'Treat Card' from restaurants, this card entitles the holder to a Medium Extra Value Meal plus a Happy Meal for only £4.49 (instead of £3.99 plus £1.99). It is valid from 19th July til 5th September. Slightly different dates for Scotland, so check out the website for full info:

http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/

Also attached to the leaflet is a free kids swim for each week of the promotion.

Hope this helps someone save some money, beaware though McDonalds staff at my local weren't aware of it and had to go ask the manager about it:rotfl:

But you don't need to- just go in without them, buy a coffee and ask for the Treat voucher (NB I haven't actually tried this...)

Told my neighbour about this (has 3 kids like me) and she popped into Maccy D's to get one. All the 'Treat Cards' were on the end of the counter, so looks like you could just pop in and pick one up now or two (one for mom and one for dad)!:j
  • I actually work for McDonald's and I can confirm that the swim vouchers can just be collected (no purchase necessary), just go in and look for a giant cardboard cut-out of a child swimming and there will be a dispenser attached with leaflets in (hopefully). Otherwise, you could always ask to speak to the duty manager.

Indeed, as stated in the opening posting. But this is not McDonald's being saintly - it is simply a legal requirement to do so. So work the system, people!
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
