You can own a house to rent and still get tax credits :shocked:.
I thought you couldn't get any benefits if you had over £50k in savings so why is it different if you have equity in a (2nd) home. How ridiculous!0 -

If you keep all your equity in one home, should you get tax credits then? I have split mine but my income could be the same as yours.0
