This isn't strictly anything to do with DFW but you guys have always been so helpful in the past that's why I thought I would post here.
So tonight I went to get some money out the ATM and I just couldn't remember my PIN no. I tried a few times and then I got a message saying contact the bank. The banks closed until tomorrow morning and I'm so worried that I'm not going to be able to use my card for a few days and I really need to pay some bills before the weekend.
Now that I'm home I know what my PIN number is. I had put the numbers in the wrong order  my question is do the bank send a new PIN or will they unblock my card so that I can use the original PIN?
I am so annoyed with myself.

I tried calling the bank but it's closed. It opens at 8 am-6 pm. I'll have to call first thing in the morning. I'm going to worry all night now. I doubt that I'll receive a new PIN before the weekend.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

you will have to ring bank in the morning and get a new PIN ordered.
they cannot unlock your pin, because pins are computer generated the bank will have to send you a new pin, you can then change it back again to your old pin.
You will have to get money our of the branch until your new pin arrives, make sure you take ID with you.TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
That sucks. I can't get to the bank because I work Mon-Sat 9-6. Oh well I guess I will just have to wait until they send me out a new PIN. I'm just annoyed with myself because I wanted to pay my bills on time. I've only recently just got my creditors to agree to reduced payments and now I've messed it up already.
Thanks for your help guys.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

you can unlock your card from any chip and pin machine eg 24x7 tesco / asda i dont think you even have to enter the correct pin just hit the unlock botton then enter your correct pin... this works on all chip and pin machines so if your 24x7 garage is closer go there. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

just reading a Chip and Pin leaflet
'if you enter your PIN 3 times-even on 3 separate occasions in sparate shops-your card will be temporarily locked, preventing you from using it......
Unlocking is simple-if you remember your PIN later insert your card in any cash machine and unlock your card by following the on-screen instructions'
i'm sure you have received this leaflet many times....EU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%
some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%

I entered my PIN incorrectly 5 times. Stupid yep.
The ATM that I was using printed out a slip and said contact the bank but I will check at the ATM today as to whether I can unlock it.
I looked through all the information I received when I opened the account but I couldn't find anything about forgetting your PIN.
Hopefully I can unlock it at the ATM.
Thanks guys

I tried to setup telephone banking but I'm not allowed. It says telephone banking is only available to current and saving account holders only. My account is a step account and therefore doesn't let me.
