i have been spending on my shell airmiles card

is that what i need to do to keep the airmiles account working. the last time i called them they said that i would have to put £30 to book a free hotel with the airmiles i have unless i spend somewhere . just want to make sure this is accurate. i just find it weird as i have actually been keeping my shell points for ages so could not understand why they said this. thanks!
also are paper airmiles still any good as i do have some lying around somewhere and wonder if worth tracking them down . thanks!

    Hi,

So just to get this clear ... you have a Shell Airmiles card - which AUTOMATICALLY moves airmiles to your Airmiles a/c ? Then your airmiles a/c should never expire?? I use BA Miles & as long as you update the a/c regularly then the miles don't expire ....

I think some paper miles are ok .... but I would phone airmiles up & ask ... have you checked your airmiles account?
